Stuart A. Shikiar
Founder, President,
Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Shikiar founded Shikiar Asset Management Inc. in 1995, and acts as the
firm’s Chairman and Chief Investment Officer. The firm is a registered
investment advisor catering to high net worth individuals, families and
tax-exempt institutions, and is based upon the investment philosophy and
processes cultivated by Mr. Shikiar over his 35+ years of managing investment
portfolios. Prior to founding Shikiar, he was a General Partner and
Portfolio Manager at Omega Advisors, a hedge fund with $5B+ in AUM. For ten
years before Omega, Mr. Shikiar was Chief Investment Officer and Managing
Director of Prudential Securities Investment Management, overseeing $2B+ in
AUM. He also held the Chief Investment Officer position at Furman Selz
Capital Management prior to Prudential, and before that was part of an
investment team as a portfolio manager at Wertheim & Company, catering to
high net worth individuals and institutions. Mr. Shikiar has served on the
Board of Directors of three publicly traded companies, one listed on the
NYSE, one listed on the AMEX, and one NASDAQ listed. He has a BBA from City
College of New York. He is a trustee of Baruch College, and Chairman of
Baruch’s Endowment Investment Committee.

Albert
Sipzener
Partner, Equity Research
Mr. Sipzener joined Shikiar Asset Management Inc. in 2001, and is now a
partner and portfolio manager. Prior to joining Shikiar, he covered
diversified industrials, machinery, and electrical equipment companies for
two years as a research analyst at Bear Stearns & Co. Mr. Sipzener began
his research career in 1993 as an investment banking analyst in Lehman
Brothers' Debt Capital Markets group. He has a B.A. in Biology and
Mathematics from Brown University and graduated from Columbia Business School in 1999.

Diane M. McDermott
Partner, Operations/Compliance Administration
Ms. McDermott joined Shikiar Asset Management Inc. in 1997 and is now a
partner with responsibilities ranging from client servicing to performance
measurement. She is also the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to
joining Shikiar she was an Associate Vice President and the operations
manager for the Investment Advisory Division at Prudential Securities.
Before her duties as operations manager, she was the Assistant to the Senior Investment
Officer of the firm’s Investment Advisory Division (Mr. Shikiar). Ms.
McDermott began her financial services career in 1982 as executive assistant
to the senior vice president of marketing of the American Stock Exchange.
Ms. McDermott received a Business Administration Certificate from Berkeley College in New York City.

Gary A. Friedle
Chief Operating Officer
Portfolio Manager/Client Service
Mr. Friedle joined Shikiar Asset Management Inc. in 2002 and is a Vice
President with marketing, client service and portfolio management duties. He
is also the firm’s Chief Operations Officer. Before joining Shikiar in 2002,
he worked at UBS/PaineWebber for over 10 years. Mr. Friedle started his
career at PaineWebber in 1991 as a financial advisor, then moved over to
manage the firm’s Unit Investment Trust Sales and Trading Desk. He became a
senior investment manager research analyst and Divisional Vice President at
PaineWebber in 1999, covering multiple styles of investment managers in the
firm’s $50 billion sub advisory programs. He has a B.A. in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA in Finance from New York University. Mr.
Friedle is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
